Need some assistance
Ok guys and girls. I am going to ask if each of you would do FF a huge favor.
For this month can you make it a personal goal to click on atleast one of the GOOGLE ads on the bottom of the screen every day? We do not earn much off of it, but every bit helps us out.
The site gets paid on a per click basis, so if you want help out further with supporting this site, be nice, but don't go crazy. If you see ads like Charity and Cancer stuff, those are just default ads and we don't get paid for those ads.
Just so you know. We had issues not that long ago with the server....well when havent we. We have had the MB fail 2 times in the last 60 days. Damn overheating. We are on two boxes right now as a temporary stop gap until I can get the new server finished being built and configured.
I have with me right now a new replacement server for the malfunctioning AMD. The new one is a Quad Xeon 700 w/2mb cache and 2gb of ram. I have ordered 4 73gb 15k 8mb cache drives to put into a raid 5 configuration.
This should be an ample server for this site and the sister sites. Hopefully we will not run into the issues again of HDD failure and data lost. I know I should have had raid set up, at least raid 1, but i did not unfortunately.
Anyhow I am rambling. If you would be so kind as to click on a few of the google ads daily it would help in recouping the costs we have incured in getting this new server.
I just ask that if you do decide to click that you do not click more than 4 a day. You will need to surf the site you go to in the ad as well. SO that google does not think it is an automated bot or incentive clicking.
