Neighbour's car in for excess oil usage.Guess what car???

Yes an SS!! a lady driver and 24k klmrs...
The car is only 8 months old.Problem more common than I thought and she was told that ThIS model is much better all has been fixed !!!! Hmmm sure has ???

Yes, but we've all been brainwa.. uhh.. Convinced that Holden's new pistons and sump have fixed this problem, and that it was only in VTII Commodores..

Yet we the consumers (read Holden devoties) will pretend it deosn't exist and continue to purchase the products because....well ummm... Holden's rock?

Ahh that poor dumb lady! I remember spending days and nights reading thru the immortal 13+ pages thread of who done engine rebuilds at ls1.com!
