yesterday when i was shopping for a new car with my girlfriend at ford i got talking to the sales guy.. i asked him if he had any info on the BA XR's.. he went into his office and pulled out a new brouchure..

The new XR's are fricken spanking!
what i can remember from it is.....

new interior has XR embossed onto the seats in about 5 colours
Red; Yellow; Blue; Purple; light Blue all with wicked patterns

the leather seats has the XR embossed in Red

18inch wheels are an option on all XR models ( i think, maybe std on XR8 boss)

new stainless steel scuff plates/door sills with XR stamped in them (looks very attractive)

MOMO kit is available on the auto gear selector in Blue, Red and Grey
also the manual has a s/steel ball with the option of either Blue, Red or Grey gear boot!

the steering wheel also has the MOMO option.. looks unreal in Blue!

i can not wait to get my BA XR UTE!

looking forward to flogging the guts outa holden!

i dont know much about turbo's..
but on the spec's page there was something about the turbo having 240kw from 2000rpm to 5000rpm


anyways, im outa here!

Yes thats right.. a flat torque "curve" from 2000 to 5000 (computer limited).
Brochure sounds interesting! Looking forward to the launch!

Hmmmm how many XR6T owners will attempt to remove the torque limiter? I wonder if its able to produce 500Nm just by doing so?

XR6t 450 over the range....XR8 is 400 over the range though peaks @ 500...does this mean we can expect the turbo to be faster off the mark?
