New BMW 7 Series

Have any of you guy's seen the new BMW 7 Series in the flesh?

I saw one today and I must admit that it looks a hell of a lot better than in the flesh than in the pictures - they don't do the car justice at all.
I mean the bootlid looks in proportion with the rest of the styling and it doesn't look as horrible as one might suggest - same goes for the front.

I think the reason why so many people don't like the cars styling is because of the pictures of it, what people don't realise and the pics don't show it is that the car is a lot bigger than people think which in turn suites the new cars styling.

It does look better in the flesh as do most cars, but I still didn't like it too much.

I didn't really have a good look at the interior but the metal effect side strips running along the inside of the doors looked a bit tacky.

I will have a better look at the car in the next week or so.

The overall shap isn't bad, but the front and rear end styling are terrible.

i have always been a big fan of the large saloon cars in particular the 7 series bmws. personally, i recon the styling of the new model is fantastic.

it is a little weird from some angles but i think it is meant to stand out. the styling of those sort of cars is supposed to say 'f**k you jack, i've got a bigger car than you', and i think it says that perfectly.

AP reckons the 7 series is butt ugly. Jac Nasser and Steve Park have been working hard in Germany. AU1 Falcon is a supermodel next to that thing!

AP likes previous 7 series shape. Low, wide and masculine. AP would shop Merc S Class now if he had the money......
