I've been toying with the idea of a late model modified falcon club in recent months, and I'd like to get a feel what's the general feeling out there towards something like this. I know a lot of FF.com members own non-Tickford Falcons, and some have been modified extensively.
The basics:
- either XD or EA onwards, depending on whethere there are XD/XE/XF clubs out there
- minimum of 3 mods, eg. rims, exhaust, stereo, engine mods, suspension, air filter, etc. would be required for membership.
So basically, would you be interested in joining such a club, or not?

I should warn you that running a nation-wide club dedicated to a popular model of car is a monstrous task. I can no longer handle even my EA-ED club on my own.
Would you consider creating just an AU club, and you can team up with the EA-ED and EF-EL people on cruises whenever you might wish? Just might make things a bit easier. I suppose the E-Series Network would be re-named the "Late model Falcon" network.
Just a thought - please take no offence.

Adviliax - that is actually a very good idea. You know that there will be a lot of hard work involved (you have only been on the committee of the TOCNSW for a few months, but you have seen how much orginisation is required)
I often receive emails from people through my website, or through the club, from people who own late model falcons who want to know if I know of any clubs for late model falcons (I usually recommend joining as an associate member).
There are a lot of people out there with awesome late model falcons, and at present there are no real clubs designed for them. (It took me 3 years to find the tickford club) and some of them are reluctant to join the tickford club, (I guess its the same with 5.0L commodore owners being relucant to come along on the LS1 cruises every week)
