is that only $1300, its fully sick mate,
i've got a question that someone reading this thread will know? can you hook up a lip stick cam to these things for "HELMET CAM" espially for a dirtbike like CRUSTY DEMONS use when they go bush tracks, would they handle vibration or would a tape type one be better?

Careful there. That looks like USD, not AUD.
I'd be wary of using a hard drive based unit in high vibration. The head will hit the disc platter and will mess everything up permanently, especially if writing at the time. Go for tape.
the best for helmet use would be flash memory, no moving parts to get moved accidentally, flash memory like SD, CF and other stuff like that
suddenly seeing $$$$$$$$$ but i can understand that a hard drive type is not good for vibration thanx for the extra info what IS the aussie price of something like this if anyone knows
would be around 1600-1700 (got it from universal online currency convertor) mark i think if its about 1300
i got a camcorder for about 1200, hooks straight up to pc as well and it got 24x optical and 800x digital, plus it has still images with removable memory card
thats one ssssssmall camera!!! i seen one at target for $400 that i was thinking about but it turned out to be a tape one and didnt have night vision and this and that and the other....you get my drift. i gave up.
anyway not related to topic, toyworld had their Midnight sale today with 20% off EVERYTHING so i got myself a Traxxas S-Maxx nitro truck (R/C) with the 2.5 TRX engine and quick start and all that....layby of course.
anyway back to the thread.
