Mitsubishi will unveil an updated version of it's Evo VII in Japan next week.It's called the GT-A and has a five-speed auto gearbox.The other marque famous for it's rally cars ,Subaru, is also planning a new variant of the high performance Legacy B4.This will come from it's performance arm STi.
Hmmm an STi Legacy B4.Things are starting to get very very interesting.

Very interesting indeed. Legacy is NOW the best looking subaru since the previous model wrx so I hope the havnt fudged the looks of it but I really doubt they would do this. What I'm curious to know is that the b4 allready has the japanese power limit of 206kw (actually it's 208kw becaseu that equals the actual power limit of 280hp) so what could STi do for the customers b4 that is not allready done. I say there will be some serious understated power figures of this car.

There have been a couple of late model WRXs getting about where I live. One is a white example. Only a young guy driving it. Over the last couple of weeks, he has changed the exhaust, lowered it, big wheels and now it looks to have a blue window tint.

Ok so it might be rice but it looked very good to me. Maybe I am getting too old!

Talking about the new Evo 7, have any of you noticed that there was no new Lancer accompanied with the Evo 7 when it was launched?
Japan has the mainstream model of the Evo 7 called the Cedia which has a different grill/bumper and rear tail lights.
For the first time I saw the Cedia in the flesh the other day in a local car yard - badged as a Lancer so Mitsubishi must have slipped them into the country without anyone knowing so has anyone else heard about them?

I wondered about that too John but maybe it is a fancy tranny that will fit with the rally image.
