Has anyone heard anything about what the new Fairlane and LTD will look like?

No idea to be honest.. My prayer is for the C Pillar to be fixed (not so straight) although I don't think Ford can do that until the '05 Model.
My guess would be new sheetmetal front & rear, new interior & drivetrains. But like I said, that's only a guess..

Would I be so far off the guess to suggest that they might not change too much on the exterior?? Interior and obvious updates, yes. As far as the rest I'm not so sure..
Have a good squizz at the new BA Falcon, and then the Fairlane / LTD, and check out the amazing similarities...
Not exactly the same, but not exactly different either.....

I hope that they don't chuck a Holden, and use the base model lights on the front. (I think it devalues it.)

Yeah it looks awful. IMO i think they should use the monaro lights on it. That would look heaps better. Atleast with ford you get a different interior layout in the Fairmont upwards. Unlike holden who uses the same layout for all models and relys on wood grain and a 3 bay trip computer thing.

Speculation suggests that it will return to the NL flavour - rounded front end, less "slabby" at the rear. I hope so...

Rumour also has it that Tickford (or is it Prodrive) will not produce a LWB version of the Barra T-Series... Anyone else heard anything different???
