Well, funny thing this old life. Was working away minding my own business when lo and behold what pops up on a pallet? The new and upcoming Magna. Behind a curtained barrier for protection this vehicle was fitted out with the usual camo tape etc but me couldn't resist a once over. Unfortunately, because it was at a workplace my camera stayed in its bag.

I just thought I'd say that Mitsubishi needs to get this car out asap - it's a fine looking car and the quality of this model was very good. Unfortunately the headlights weren't fitted (a botch generic headlight and indicator were fitted) so full styling wasn't evident but the roofline and front/rear profiles looked quite sporty for a Mitsu.

If Mitsu made this range AWD exclusively like Subaru perhaps some extra credibility and exclusivity might see it get the attention it deserves.

AP's advice:
Think outside the square about where you'll see a prototype vehicle - the car makers don't necessarily use car carriers etc......

It will be good to see Mitsu bring out something that isnt fugly for a change, they've had a hard time over the last couple of year. Hopefully something good will bring them back from the grave and help outta a few of those people that lost their jobs.

Actually the current car will be the last Magna, what ever you saw must be its replacement. Rumour has it the next Magna will be based off the US Galant styling ques - could it have been this car ?
