Hello all, I've not long joined the forums.
I have posted a few replies here and there and thought I better do the right thing and say g'day!!!

My name is Eddie, I'm a fitter and Turner by trade,
and I've been a Ford fan for ages.

I've not long sold my ED XR8, to concentrate on my house
payments, and have owned a number of Falcons since
I first got my licence.. Eventually I'd like to figure out how to post some pic's for those interested!

Currently I hack around in a 1980 XD sedan, and have recently picked up a Series 2 RX7 tp play with. I have an XD ute in the shed, just waiting for me to get it going.. It will end up with an FC LTD frontend, all LTD interior and electrics.
I've got a 351 Cleveland black block for it, and a C4 waiting for a rebuild.
Diff will probably be a Borg Warner, though I've got a limo centre,and a set of rear disc brakes donated from my cousin's old ZK Fairlane diff. My other cousin is a spray painter, and if I ask him nicely, it will end up with some sort of Cobalt Blue or thereabouts paint job.
Oh, and I want to put flames on it too, just for the hell of it!!! I'm kind of in the market for a set of EF XR8 16" 5 spoke mags for it, and reckon they should look good fully polished! Hopefully another mate who polishes aluminium accessories can help me with that..

As to "like minded Ford Fans" if you love your Fords and are a little cwazy, you will find plenty of like minded and friendly people here. :s3

Hi ya Eddie, as Grunter said"welcome". There are lots of people like you here, cause were all like it.

Just be aware it gets a bit silly now and again, but it's all in good fun.
