Who has read the new motor mag. I got this of the LS1 forums.
With tests of:
Luxons Phase II APS XR6T 330kw
And a quasi comparison between Stars 400kw Supercharged Monaro and CAPA's 400kw Supercharged XR8
And that's before you even look at
Audi's 331kw RS6 V8
Aston Martin DB9
A Bathurst 24hr review
etc
etc
But the Supercharged V8 test is FANTASTIC!!!
Am a FF myself so I love the XR8, especially the fact that the 400kw kit is only $6995 fitted, versus the $19800 charged for Stars kit.
Performance advantage to the Supercharged monaro (Friggen sensational!!!) Even Herrod seems to be a big rap for the car (in a typically blue blooded way!!)
Price advantage definitely sits with the XR8, on road including the car for only$57,125 The Star Monaro costs $79,150.
Absolutely HUGE amounts of performance for the $$$$
So if you have read it can you post the times up . Thanks
yep i got the mag today...the ford certainly doesn't take much to get it modded up to gen3 modded spec. the ford engine is relativly new as well so the prices these mods cost are fantastic. can't wait to see what further r&d will do :) the monaro has 700nm at 2000rpm thats insane!!
Aussie cars kicking ass thats what I like to see

Luxons XR6T Definately has potential, it looks like its having trouble getting all that power to the ground, looking at the 190km/h trap speed. should be atleast getting into the 12 second mark
