Thumbs down New One tonner ad

Just wondering if anyone else has een the new Holden 1 tonner ad yet. I must admit it is a good one, however what I cant get my head around is how they can get away with showing wheelspin and footage that might make us all want to go out on the roads and drive around like its the Tooheys 1000?
Anyone seen it? Whats with the advertising double standards and what do you guys think?

Shook my head the first time I saw it. Still do.

Re: New One tonner ad

I think it's a great ad. It's targetting the people who have kept 1 tonners well beyond their useful life waiting for a new version.

Concept and consumer targetting is spot on!!!

Wheelspin?? Oh shock horror! I'm going to drive like a dickhead now that I've seen that. I'll have an accident and hurt myself. Then I'll sue the advertising standards bureau for subjecting me to this by not banning the ad. And on it goes...........

If they get away with a bit of wheel spinning then GOOD ON THEM!!!!

Good ad I reckon! No need to poo-poo it because it's Holden. :s1

Yeah, I liked it too.

Have Holden got the rights to all the great AC/DC anthems?

First Thunderstruck and now Back in Black.

Re: New One tonner ad

I was thinking the same thing about the music. The rock classics are getting a move on now and it's about time.

No car ATM but I am looking at one...
I don't want to say which one otherwise someone else might buy it!

Yep, great ad. Looks like the advertising ban has been thrown out the window?
The new HSV add is worse. I thought all car makers were banned from showing speed??????
