roll New T Series

I haven't been on the net for a few days and was wondering if there was anymore info on the upcoming T series.
I know they will have a different bodykit, wheels etc.
But does anyone know what the power will be I have heard anything from 250-270kw, and also I gather they will have better brakes than the current T series.

Also what performance times do you think they will be able to achieve?.

Maybe we'll get hte power increases with the AV but as for the AU3, I highly doubt it:( . - I'm guessing VERY small changes for the AU3, so guys don't get your hopes up now :(

Yeah I am talking about the stroker T series, it seems that nobody knows the exact power figure, I'll put my neck on the chopping block and say 260kw and 480nm.

270kw, no chance

I very much doubt the power would be as high as this, I think around 255kw is about as far as it will go. As for the people wanting sheet metal changes on the AU3 as Jaytne has pointed out, this isnt going to happen, god with the cost associated with these changes they are saved for new model name, ie AV, series changes are generally minor tweaks, the 3 speed to 4 speed auto in the EA, the 4.0lt engine in the EB2, obviously the Fairmont front end etc on the AU2 (I bet they had no plans to do this when the car was launched in 1998, this change they had to make) As a rule of thumb, a model is usually around for 3 or 4 years before they rename and make the major changes, (XF the longest ever Aust Ford, being 9 years, with the ute!!)

Pritesh, the stroker engine is not a rumour, it has been confirmed by Ford and you will see it in the upgraded FTE T-Series range next month.

Though the rumour currently is the power output.
