New tyres and front alignment XR6 AUII recommendations located near Oakleigh Melb.Vic

Hello all , just found abnormal wear on my D/S front tyre on the inner edge due to what I suspect is a crap front alignment so I am after some recommendations on who is good at front end alignments with a proven track record and who sells good tyres in the $200-250 price range, I am only buying a pair at this stage but I am not after the cheapest deal just after a dealer/ retailer who stands by their work and wants a loyal customer, the car is an AUII XR6 ute,
Cheers
Bill.

For alignments I only use Advantage Suspension in Moorabbin .. as for tyres I am not aware of any place that is better than others.

Thanks xacoupe, I went down to Advantage suspension and found the guys there friendly and helpful.Had a camber kit installed so that will correct the inner front tyre wear in the future. The ute felt different(read steered and handled better) even with the old tyres on so it is off to tyre place next week for some new rubber.Money well spent!
Cheers
Bill.

I go to a top guy here in Sydney and I can vouch from experience that EVERY AU and BA he's seen with the 235 and 245 tyres has worn the inner edge of the tyres badly. Mine included. He did the alignment on mine a while back and after fitting new tyres I went back and the alignment was fine. I think it has something to do with extended distances at high speed (I've done a lot of highway work recently which is where the wear accelerated).

We put a tiny bit of additional toe in on my car to compensate.
