Front styling could do with a bit of work IMO.. Otherwise it looks ok..

I dont like the look of the front.. Otherwise the rest of the body is the same as the current vectra.

I dont think they are selling many vectras any how... See heaps of Astras. but hardly any vectras.

Don't see the point in these mid size cars in Oz. You'll pay same price as a Commodore when it reaches here. Astra is where the GM strength lies. There are heaps in Sydney. The convertible will sell shit loads and is a great marketing move. Ford should release the Focus in Oz. Give the ricers something to think about.

So would many others. Too bad Ford opted out of the C/D segment that they stated was in serious decline.

Holdens new design theme

Actualty, its Opels but thats what holdens are anyway.
Unfortunally it looks better in real life than the pics that have been released by GM. In the MOTOR mag it shows a computer version of hte 2006 commodore and it looks similar to the vectra. real boxy.
I still cant under stand why Ford doesnt sell the mondeo in Australia. Its sold in new zealand.

The new Mondeo is a bit of a looker. I've driven a new manual Astra 3 door; it was a nice car, very European in look and feel (obviously), and that's why it's popular with younger trendy types who cannot afford new 3 series or C class Mercs.

Because it would take sales from Falcons as it has done in N.Z

The three most popular new car models for the month were the Holden VX Commodore, Toyota Corolla and FORD MONDEO.
