ahh the Victorian Police & their fetish for Holdens.
I remember back to last years 75th Birthday for Ford & they rocked up for convoy escort duty in their GMH products :crazy1: ; thought GP was gonna choke!!
Being a man concious of the near riot taking place over his sholder; they were quickly dimissed!!:s6:
That will catch your eye on the road thats for sure. Discovery was telling me this morning that she saw one near her place.
Don't know how that will help the road toll figure tho'.:oo1:
Maybe Holden are struggling to sell their new Hyper Yellow colour so they thought they would offload a few to the police. They are ricer Police cars.:s6:
Seriously though why the hell are the majority of Police cars in Victoria Holdens, the only time you see a Falcon it is either a ute or maybe a marked cop car, I would not have seen an Xr for a good 2 years.
Judging by the news it seems that Qld is one of the only states that uses a majority of Falcons.

Unfortunately I would think it's because of the horsepower type stuff. They definately don't handle better. HP = HorsePower = High Performance = Highway Patrol (aint I clever) :s5

That's because after a 2 year study into comparing the 6 cyl. Commodores vs Falcons, it was found that in power, handling and quality that the Holdens were, and I quote from the study... "after exhaustive side by side testing of the 2 vehicles to be used for Queensland standard Policing and traffic control, over an extended period, it's been found that the Holden product is sh|t."

Well .. you know how it is with the police.. they get out of highschool where they've been drawing on their folders and bullying little kids for 6 years and go into the academy.. where they draw all over their cars and bully little kids for the next 40 years...
