Newbie Ford guy on the BB!

Hello Ford faithful! I've been lurking the BB for a couple of weeks, really liked what I've seen and decided to join in the fun. I'm 32 going on 21, live in Goodwood, an inner suburb of Adelaide and drive a Tickford optioned, bordeaux purple 5.0 EF Ghia. And I LOVE it! Check my profile for some of my other non-vehicular interests, I like to keep busy.....

Exciting times for Ford enthusiasts, eh? Barra is shaping up to be a real Commondore killer, if Ford can change the one-track mindset of the large Holden buying public. I have always been quietly confident that I drive a better car than the VR/VS opposition (difficult in HoldenTown), but don't feel the need to advertise that fact on a regular basis. My Ghia transports me beautifully with amazing pace and grace!

So, I look forward to getting to know you all. I hope to discuss a few niggly problems over at the Garage, so don't hold back on the help!:D

All the best, Mike.

Why....thankyouverymuch!

Gotta love the EF/EL Fairmonts, tough looking ride!

I realise that now I have followed the dark path in the automotive community, forever will it dominate my destiny! Looking forward to it too.

Thanks for the welcome. I must work on a cool avatar now...

Mike

Welcome aboard matey. No doubt you'll have support from the guys here. I'm in the same boat, putting up with holden fanatics in my area. So i need a place where everyone has a common thinking "Fords".

By the way like your ride mate. :s5
