Re: NFS Underground 2

sounds good...awwh all this money on games is killing me.

Im STILL waiting for GT4..and Ford Racing 3 looks good, you can get the FALCON GT as well so it should be worth it just for that.

Re: NFS Underground 2

Got it last night, been playing it till all hours this morning!!!

The first thing that struck me was the exhaust notes of the cars - bloody hell, they are actually sounding *something* like they should!!!! This is a first for ANY pc car game that I have ever played - they have been collectively shite in reproducing engine and exhaust notes until this game. Top work!

Very addictive and a HUGE improvement over the last one for playability. I got so damn sick of the tracks in the first game, the free-run style of play linking up the different races and shops is much better. Would be handy to have a "jump to this shop" type thing though if you can't be jack driving there :

Couple of hours and I've made up a laughable 240sx (hey, it aint no S15 but at least it's a Nissan and it looks like an old 180sx!). Mag cover shot, hydraulics launching the nose stupidly in the air, hillarious!! Gotta do a bit more work on my Escalade and Focus though, they are both a bit limp.. but at least the Escalade has Pimpin rims!

Can't wait to get some more cars, still shits me that you have to "earn" stuff.. I want it all from the start, or at least, 80% of cars and mods available!

You gotta hold the handbrake and press up or down on the D pad to raise the front and back respectively

Thanks mate, I figured that out its pretty cool, I've clocked the game now, still fun to rice up the cars like the POS toyota corolla at the start and put wide carbon fibre bodykits on it and stuff, bloody hilarous
