Perhaps they sound similar cos they're form the same band...
I used to think the same thing about greenday but once you listen to their songs they all become unique, sure there are similarities between someday and how you remind me but the lyrics and chords are different therefore a valid release....

Ever thought that all Nickleback songs sound the same? I think they suck purely because that Chad guy(ugly ugly man) has no range and sounds the exact same in every song they do.
