No more FF for me

Hi everybody,

I'm afraid I will be ending my involvement in the Forums due to the purchase of a Saab Turbo and selling the XF. I guess I'll have to find SaabForums or something.

The XF is still for sale in the Market section.

Everyone has been really helpful in the time I've been here. I've learnt a lot about my XF and have a much better appreciation for fast cars. If I ever see an XR with FF sticker at the lights I'll let you know it's me and we'll drag.

I'm sure I'll still visit the Forums now and again for the laughs, but I won't be posting much.

Cheers,
Over and out.

well we do have a small area on GMF for Saab's, but that does not mean that you cant stay here and shoot the breeze.

Oh come on mate, we like having ya around! You've provided some usefull advice when I've asked questions, and I'm sure other people feel the same way!
Plus you can give us first hand info about the Saab.

Gee thanks Pearly-XF, glad to hear I've helped someone along the way.

First hand info about the Saab - it'll spin the wheels in second gear when the turbo comes on. Driving in the wet is treacherous without traction control because it comes on pretty strong if you're not used to it. It's real quiet and smooth with plenty of go when you need it with the economy of a 4 cylinder when you don't. I think it's been chipped because people have said it goes harder than it should. Plus the turbo boost goes into the red when it says in the manual that it shouldn't.

I think DmainMan is correct in saying no one can leave FF - I've tried in the past without success.

I suppose I will have to lurk around FF and rear my ugly head occasionally just to let you know I'm alive.

Hey I just sold my XC after 14 years of ownership and am "Fordless" but I intend to hang around and post the odd bit of dribble. I even drive a WRX now but will always have a soft spot for the blue oval (and can see a BA onwards XR6/8 in my driveway).
