Install a full-time video-surveillance system in your car and a few of those Star Wars pop-out laser turrets. That should show the bastards.

That, and a big scrolling-light display in the front and back windows that emphasise words like 'KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING' or 'THE SPEED LIMIT IS UP THERE AT 80km/h RIGHT NOW' or 'PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ME NOW AND YOU'RE A GONNER'.

Bad day here too.

sorry to hear about your car Falcon_SR_Babe. that sucks big time. i read your post at work today (not allowed to post on message boards at work...big no no) and when i got back to my little car i looked around the car park and decided that of about 30 cars, mine was the least desirable as a steal-it proposition. as for someone damaging the paint, i dont think i would actually notice.

Hey,

I know your pain SR_Babe, the EDV8 was parked at the uni bar carpark. And a loverly individual backed into it with a 4WD and smegged off without leaving a note.

Result, one dented boot - luckily it didnt do the quarters, lights, bumper or the boot itself.

Grrrrrrr

L8a,
Prud

I feel for ya SR_Babe...

I'm lucky I get to park my XR6 in my shop all day long, so it doesnt even see daylight... and it sits in airconditioning all day..
(geez, not even my wife sits in air-con all day)

I have a friend that has an alarm with sensors on the outside of the car and if you get too close to it a voice says," Please move away from the vehicle or alarm will sound" in a weird techno voice.. scares the absolute shit out of you the first time you hear it.. Must be at like 90db...
It goes of twice then the alarm goes off.. cant say they werent warned...hehe

Cheers

Tony

Sorry to hear about your bad news. My friends get pissed at me when we go shopping or when we go somewhere other than the city, I park in the farthest away corners of shopping centre car parks and walk :) I usually park at the end of a row, so that one of the sides isn't going to get someone parking against it, if I'm stuck, that way I can also squeeze over to give the other guy heaps of room.

What do I do when I park in the city? Use my keycard to park in secure parking under work and walk from there, even if we're going to Northbridge. Hehe.

Simon....
