Well it's happened again, speeding fine #2 for Kenaz. 23 Jun at 2:11PM. Queens Road, Melbourne between Lakeside Drive and Albert Road Drive. 65km/h in a 60 zone.
That is the last time I drive to a meet. The other fine I copped was on the way to the Bundoora meet. Not Happy Jan! I think next time I will catch public transport or catch a lift with someone else. I can't afford to just keep paying these fines especially with the rego coming up.
The thing that pisses me off the most is that since the last one I have been so careful not to breach the limit. I have had to put up with people sitting right on my bumper and people overtaking me. I'm not making excuses here but I have a feeling the speedo might be out, and changing wheels wouldn't have helped that cause either.
Anyone else that went to the meet get busted as well?
Sorry to hear it Kenaz... that's bad luck. I haven't received any fines myself, but I am so paranoid about them that I make a point of driving BELOW the speed limit. :'(

hell, up here in QLD, we would have to be doing at least 66, if not 70 to get pulled up. The speed cameras im told have a ten percent allowable limit, ie of its a 60 zone, you got 66, 80 zone, 88 etc. They only crack down in peak times
Most radar cops I have driven past wont bother unless you are at least 10kph over the limit, the fine isnt big enough. It only becomes serious money when you are above 15kph.....
hey kenaz i was speeding on queens road (was doin bout 75 ) and a guy flashed me was soo lucky not to get done the car with the camera was a burgandy magna wagon lol
Thanks for the sympathy guys. Just a warning from now on, if you are driving along the road and there is a slow car holding up traffic further ahead - it could be me
