Well im goddamn pissed off, yesterday was the worst day and then this just topped it off when i got back to the car in the "SECURE" parking at Stirling train station. bloody bullsh1t i say.
The cops pulled off a perfect finger print off the rear door handle outside, but like he said even if is a match to someone else, all this prooves is that they were outside my car during the same day as the brake in happened, doesnt mean they did it (even though we all know very well it was them, cos i washed the car a few days before hand and no one has used the back door since).
So now i gotta get new locks (AGAIN... this is the second time at a different place) and this time try to straighten out the nice dent around the lock, and get another window now and hope they can match the tint on it as well.
And if your wondering, no they arent brown seat covers its the flash making them look wierd colour and all the black around the lock is fingerprint dust. half my drivers side is covered in it, and its a pain to take off too.

I had a similar incident where the fukcers tried to break the driver lock open but couldn't and then instead took out the rear window. Add insult to injury they didn't even steal a thing inside the car and left me with damage under the insurance excess.
That really really pissed me off.

Thank god they didnt take anything, im lucky for that... but now they know whats in the car so i'll never park there again thats for sure.
Ive been tempted to get rid off the locks all together and get a panel beater to cover over the holes as i use the remote with central locking to unlock the doors anyway.
whats your ideas on that?
if the battery gets flat i know how to unlock my door anyway with one of those plastic strip things, so thats okay

you can get a positive located at an accesable point to power the car if the batts. go flat same as they do for door popping kits/shaved handles I think ..
I've thought of this too, but you know, they also know how to get in doing the plastic strip thingy, and if you've got an alarm that won't help you much either, if you really wanted to be safe cut the buttons off, or just the top like has been done to my drivers side door. I reckon if you carried around two remotes or an extra battery for one remote.....and a way to get it in the remote, you'd be laughin. The car battery shouldn't go flat........
Similar thing (not as bad) happened for me down at the transation in the xf ute and come back and the door lock is all bent. They broke into the ute found there was completely nothing inside so locked the door and left. I reported it to the police cause nothing was taken they wont do anything. They said they 'might' go take a look cause it was all filmed on their so called '24 hr recoreded video survaliance' but im guessing they did nothing.
