here's my whinge for today.
Went to local NRMA (RACQ for out of NSW'ers) branch to update my policy on the XR8 to include the DVD and screen i just put in. They said ' this is an unacceptable modification and we are cancelling your policy,by law we must cover you for the next 7 days ". I was like, WTF ???? They are going to call their rep to see if he can pull a few strings, but if not, i am gonna have to find a new mob for insurance.
Anyone had a similar experience ?? and where did you get insurance from in the end ??
thanks
Hmmm , I can only assume they consider it an illegal modifications due to safety issues............. if you have a DVD in your car , you put it there to watch. If you watch it your more likely to hit someone.
Make's sense to me!
Try VIGIL.

I've been quoted got the best deal i've ever had insurance wise with these guys, and they would cover the mod's I've got as well . . . (wheels, heads, roller rockers, full exhaust and sway bars).
the thing isnt for me to watch while i drive !! :p
its for the rest of the clan, i get to listen, from my angle anyhow the lcd only gives me a heavily shadowed image, every other seat in the car gets great view.
