Personally, I think Romney stands a good chance simply due to a lack of participation on the left. I know a lot of narrow minded people who just can't vote for a republican and will not vote for Obama. Third option is stay home.

Personally, I think party line voting is incredibly stupid and dangerous.

If people stay at home and dont use their vote they should have their voting rights rescinded ? Unless there are genuine grounds for not voting . You can get postal votes over here if you are unable to get to polling stations .Maybe a couple of warnings first and then banned ?
