Thats faster than the current XR8. yeehaa..Wheels are always very conservative with times as well. I think MOTOR would be a better bet for this info.

the fastest a SS has ever done 0-100 is 5.97 so the XR6t is FUKING FAST wait until the XR8.

Wait for MOTOR Big Block Ford a comparo with the SS should show just how great it is, especially with the way those guys hoon around in the cars they test :s6:

I wouldn't worry too much - Wheels record their times with two people in the car, a full tank of petrol and about half a tonne of bricks in the boot.

For example, the Clubsport R8 M6:
Wheels: 0-100 = 6.5, 400m = 14.7
Motor: 0-100 = 5.89, 400m = 13.99 (Avalon)

WRX STi M6:
Wheels: 0-100 = 6.1, 400m = 14.2
Motor: 0-100 = 5.53, 400m = 13.79 (Secret)

The past Ford tests seem to be more on par though:

Ford XR8 M5:
Wheels: 0-100 = 6.6, 400m = 14.8
Motor: 0-100 = 6.35, 400m = 14.68 (Avalon)

Ford TE50 M5:
Wheels: 0-100 = 6.0, 400m = 14.1
Motor: 0-100 = 5.97, 400m = 14.01 (Avalon)

In any case, we will have to wait for the next MOTOR before we get any decent performance figures.

Well considering this was a wheels effort, i am impressed with the times. They are what i expected and am quite happy about them. No doubt MOTOR will go better again!

Just gives us some indication also at how good the XR8 will be:s3
