As some of you know, our mate 3Toed has admitted to having certain abilities in the art of breaking dunny seats. Clearly such a skill could not go unrecognised.

So at 3FB Hospitality Base Bathurst, 3Toed was presented with his very own for emergency use only toilet seat. The very clever Sticky Date also read the Ode to 3Toed that she had written.

The Ode to 3Toed

Can't you just picture him now
Sitting there with a furrowed brow,
Thinking that it was a job well done
And why isn't life always this much fun?

He leans forward to start the wiping process
Then got himself into a terrible mess,
There was this god almighty crack
He wasn't game to have a look back

It was then that he realised he was hurting like hell
Nothing could distract him not even the smell,
It now became clear he had cracked the seat
Which most would agree, is no mean feat

His sensitive skin was caught in between
Tears in his eyes could clearly be seen,
Oh bother, oh darn, he must not strain
To be pinched by a toilet seat is surely a pain

But don't you know it, that wasn't the last
There has been another in his past,
I'm not quite sure what the total is
But I imagine the record is certainly his

So Sloth, without further ado
We have a gift just for you,
In honour of your incredible feat
Here is your own emergency dunny seat.

Firstly, a big thank you to Sticky Date and Blurter for the wonderful presentation. T'was a huge surprise! It's in my car boot ready for if and when I need it.

The new year is fast approaching and soon it will be time to complete the hat trick of dunny seat breakages. See this thread for details of the first two incidents.

On this same subject I have a funny anecdote to tell you all. :s6:

It was the end of the day today at work and I was going to take a slash before leaving to go home. I mosey on over to the Gents and am dumbfounded to see this:

First thing I had to do was go up to Marketing and borrow their digicam to take a snap. I'm sure this photo will provide much mirth and merriment for quite some time.

Before the accusations start, it's closed off because some of the tiles on the floor are loose and have come off (that's what the handwriting on the note says). I think rather than people watching where they step, OH&S dictates that we go without a shitter until it's fixed. Good thing there are others in the building to use...
