Well it was always going to happen. Every time I got in the car I knew it was getting closer.

What a morning. I have misplaced my wallet, and I needed petrol, so I had to go back home and get some money. Then on the way to picking up my brother, I launched it off from a set of lights, I was in the very right lane, and I needed to cross 2 lanes to turn off and go up another road on the left. I let the clutch out, and stood on it, and a bit of wheel spin later.............

I saw a guy standing up at an intersection and I thought I would give it a bit, and it was a cop.... He radioed up the road, and that was it.

I didnt have my licence on me either....... So I have now copped at $240 fine. I havent had any Queensland Police Rewards Points taken off me for good driving either..... I would rather 2 points and a $100 fine, but seeing its over $150 I can go on a payment plan... Maybe $5 a week, and I pay it off over two years...

The reason on the ticket is for: "Drive vehicle to make undue noise"... I am glad its not for speeding!!!

I think I have had a pretty damn good run, considering I smash it off the line a few times!!!

ohh yea, I am not pissed at all...

I am very lucky. I didnt get "that" much wheelspin, but if I had anymore then I would have got a bigger fine and lost points too.

Its strange that speeding gets a smaller fine, then a bit of wheelspin and launching...

10km/h over the speed limit is a $90 and 1 point, yet this is $240 and no points. I am prepared to cop this on the chin though...

Whats the fine for 20km/h over the limit. Honestly I think speeding is worse than a bit of wheelspin...

your lucky they dont get the EPA onto you as well for undue noise...you know make you take you car to get a Db check.

Id much rather a fine than points, as the points affect your for years and your insurance company can find out easier about points.

yea thats true about the points... The fine is better when i think about it, cuz then i still have 12 points!!!

I dont think i have learnt my lesson....... I am sure i will still smash it off the line again many more times... I might be a bit more careful in future though.

good to see you are being sensible about it and knew you were in the wrong, rather then most people who just sook about it
