Base model has 182kw dohc vct as standard 380nm torque

optional v8 has 220kw three valve v8 470nm torque

xr6 turbo has 240kw and 450nm torque

xr8 has dohc vct four valve v8 sporting 260kw@5250 rpm and 500nm torque@4250rpm

Figures to be released tomorrow.

That sounds about right. Was hoping for at leaset 185kw in the base model but thems the breaks I suppose. Also thought the Standard V-8 would have around 230Kw.

I gather there is no HP version of the standard 6 for the base model XR6.

maybe they are going todo a holden S job and just use the standard motor. Or maybe the HP version just wasnt mentioned yet? i dunno?

Turbo is also an option on the base models.

is it across the range though? i like the idea of a fairmont ghia turbo. all the luxo gear and an xr6t drivetrain, cool.

220kW is quite disappointing for the base V8 since Holden will have 230+ across range. Why not have the DOHC v8 across range??
