I believe any Ford dealer will also accept it for recycling.

I just poor it in this deep crevis, in the reserve next door, then cover with lawn clipping. Or alternatively dig a hole in the yard.

Yes, use it as weed killer... run it along the fence, and you won't have to whipper snip it for a couple of months!
They should sell sump oil in the gardening section of bunnings i reackon ;-)

Re: oil, disposing of
Mix it with creosote and paint the fence, or dig a "moat" round ya fence posts and pour the oil/creosote mixture in, post will not rot for 20 years.
1 part creosote, 20 parts oil.
By the way, make sure it cannot get into any waterways, or you may have a mini Valdez on ya hands :s6:

Put in under pressure, i.e. sit it in a bag with a few bricks on it. Then lounge around and wait for it to turn to diamond. Shouldn't take too long, and you'll be rich* when it finally finsihes
Nah just kidding, but dispose of it good and proper (like we all do... )
*Note: rich may not be acquired from diamonds, rather may come from secret to staying alive so long, the exlixer of life.

My used oil is use to service our commo, which uses the oil like a 2 stroke.... so we dont need to dispose of any oil :)
