Over the christmas period, holidays and gatherings have taken its toll on my waist line. Ive been eating some of the worst food out, and paying for it in a bad way! Its gotten so bad that, recently Ive have been getting chest pains, nausea, and finding it hard to get outta bed.
Im at a desk during work hours so, it doesnt help when all I do is sit on my ass on the computer and eat nothing but take out. Its fun for a while, but gets a bit too much on wallet and the belt.
Ive come to the conclusion that I need to lose some serious weight to gain my life back. Thing is, I dont reckon I'll have the motivation to lose weight by myself. I really need others who are in the same boat and want to help themselves and better their lives at the same time for me to keep going.
What I am suggesting is FordForums mass weight loss petition over a period of say 3 months. The rules are simple, use what ever methods to assist you in losing weight, and stick to it.
I would like it to start on the 22nd of March 2004 which is a Monday and it will end with a weigh in on the 29th of May 2004 with a total kg comparison.
First weigh in will be on the 21st of March 2004 of your current weight.
What I would really like to know is whose in with me?
Hahaha, I'll play along but I havent weighed myself in 3 years so I guess it's time.
I dont have to lose a lot, just a bit around the girth. If it helps, I'll give it a shot, about 5kgs would be nice to lose for me.
hehe. Yeah Im looking to lose anything over 10kg's personally. Ultimately 15-20kg's.
My main method is to follow that diet on the today tonight website. Its got heaps of ideas and a good plan to stick to. Stage 1 for the first week and then Stage 2 with the help of a low GI plan for the rest of the weeks.

I have a much simpler plan, I stop eating crap food and start eating a bit better. Doesnt take much, just cut out the high sugar foods. Anything else is fine. You could drink straight fat if you want, it wont add weight, the body just passes it through. It's sugar that will add weight. Simply cut that out of your diet and watch the weight fall off.
I last 25 kgs in 3 months that way many years ago.
Well I've already started my cutting phase but I'll provide figures on the dates you mentioned for giggles. Got my 2nd personal training session at 07:00 tomorrow, I'm walking places rather than taking the car (panting doesn't sound anything like the windsor but anyway)...
fordqirl - I take a look at the weight watchers diet too, thanks very much!
Casper - I spose I could do that also, but you know you've got to reward yourself every now and then. Plus some foods have good sugar in them thats good for the body.
Well ive just been eating less and WAS doing exercise and a BIT of weights but havent done that for at least a month or two now, but at the time i went from about 79 to about 72-73kg's during about 2 months. now im just still trying to eat right and no exercise appart from the bedroom at nights but yeah im still on the same weight. So just gotta maintain this weight now and start to bulk up
