I have pinned down two cars that I really like at the moment and I need your opinions on which one to get. I would rather get the cheaper one so I can do more mods to it. Anyways here are the contenders-:

1. FALCON EB S/Pack 1991 Red Sedan, 170k kms, 3.9mpfi, 5sp Manual, pwr steer, air con, 6cyl, all S pack features, outstanding value ABI88A $7997

2. FALCON EB S/Pack 1991 3.9, 200k kms, Everglade Green, 5sp Manual, air cond, pwr steer, $6500

(forgot to ask if the Green 3.9 was MPFi but I think S/Packs came with them didn't they?)

So what do you guys think, obviously the red one would be a bit better because its got less k's but its more expensive. Is the 3.9 really as bad as you guys have been saying? I dont want this thing to be breaking down every 10k kms. I dont mind paying a bit it fix certain things up, but not if its an ongoing problem. I.E- head gaskets.

EB S packs were definitely MPFI, only EA Series I S Packs had the option of CFI or MPFI.

170K kms vs 200K kms isn't a big difference I think, I'd be looking at the exterior quality (bad paint, rust?), interior etc.

Couldn't find a manual EBII (4.0l)?

yeah i could find some with the 4.0 but there ALL auto and a really wanted a manual..its sucks!!

but if anyone else knows of a 4.0l manual EB thats in VIC then im all ears.

I did find a GLi that was a 4.0, but they want 8k for it and its got nothing (as in extra's)..and I got that 8k down from 9k

Look at the body and the interior and pic the best one...

And 9k for a EBGLI ??? lol - you gotta be kidding!!! You can pick up EB XR8's for that!

so did I untill I seriously started looking for a car. I think series 1 EBs had 3.9 and series 2 had 4.0. But im not 100% sure on that.

hey nobody has commented on the 3.9mpfi??!!

its it crap?..I heard its not bad but has reliablity problems.
I thought they would have been fixed for the EB from the EA?!
