Old and the New

I know about whats new on the BA, but whats Old?

What parts have Ford carried over from the old AU to the New BA?

Doors, yes. Is the chassis new? Anything else?

The transmission seems to be carried over apart from the addition of the manual change facility. I reckon that a whole lot of little parts you don't see, things like electric window motors and so on, would be carried over too.

But Ford has mostly spent its dollars wisely.

The transmission has been heavily reworked also. For example to reduce NVH levels they have changed the gear set to include gears that mesh with more teeth at any given time. This has apparently removed the whine from the tranmission all together.

And I would imagine 61sg means a fair bit of the FRONT suspension?
