Old threads are still here

I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, and sorry to rabbit on if most of you know this, but I've had a question about not being able to see the older 3FB threads in here.

I know with my default forum setting (and this is the part I'm not sure is the same for everyone), only posts that have been active in the last 30 days are shown.

To get around this is quite simple.

When you go into either 3FB forum (or any other for that matter) and you see the individual threads for each subject, look to the bottom of the list to just below where is shows the members currently browsing the forum.


You'll see a line with 3 drop down windows: the first part tells you how many threads are showing, then the drop downs are for sorting the parameters of your viewing, be it by thread title, author, last post (the default) or others, then in ascending or descending order, and lastly the age of the thread.

This is the one you need to change to see older stuff.

The options are: (from)

last day
last 2 days
last 5 days
last 10 days
last 20 days
last 30 days (my default setting)
last 45 days
last 60 days
last 75 days
last 100 days
the last year
the beginning


To see the older threads, just change the setting in this window to one of the latter options that show threads further into the past.

Hope this helps anyone having problems with that.
