There's been some media about this topic of late in the media. The scientists/astronomers are saying the govt is not doing enough (ie $$$) to monitor these asteroids/other space junk and one day sh*t is going to hit the fan, or rather something large and heavy will hit the earth.

Do you seriously think they could stop/alter it's path anyway?

NASA hasn't had a good track record lately. Can't even land probes on planets, let alone anything smaller that's travelling faster.

We can't yet predict, let alone control the weather, global warming, earthquakes, (insert favourite natural disaster here) so why worry about these.

Maybe it's natures way of saying the human experiment is over.

I don't think our technology is capable of blocking or altering the path of asteriods or space junk.

When dealing with space a slight miss calculation can be like 1 light year out.
So conclusion give or take it might hit us or it might not. :crazy1:
