Yesterday I picked up my new (well new for me) wheels. A 12/96 compliance, 4/97 registered Ford Probe! Was also looking at a BA XR6T but house purchase etc helped make the decision for me.

Details:
Colour: white
Engine: 2.5l standard
Trans: 5 spd manual
Wheels: standard mags

Its pretty much standard all over really. Goes like a bat out of hell (or is that just my driving style?) The Aussie Probes were all the US GT's although they weren't badged that way here.

FM has already replied that it is a 'girlie car' but as I am a girl that's ok by me!

No mods planned at the moment except for keyless entry (does have central locking but not keyless) and a cd/head unit as cds were another thing these missed out on. One particular individual is trying to pursuade me to go the upward opening hinged doors and other 'ricey' mods but I promise not to comply.

I'll post pics in the showroom when I get some taken. In the meantime if you are in the area and see a white Probe flash past, give me a wave!

ED Spaniard, swapped it for the car I had. They retail for around 15-25k depending on condition/mileage.

Oh, forgot to say it only has 70 000k on the clock, not bad eh?!

Yeah, it's a great little car, very enjoyable to drive. :s1 Felicity did a great job on the deal, I don't think the salesmen knew what hit them!

As for mods, I've got a scissor door conversion (ala Lamborghini), fully sik Shogun body kit including bonnet scoop, 'lazy eye' kit, etc but I'm stopping short of under carriage and wiper blade neons. :s3

(Just kidding, these things look great stock so it's just the remote locking and CD head unit. :s1)
