Ok, this is just a poll about my car lol, but important none the less :)
At the moment I have the fairmont side mouldings on the car and they are painted black with a chrome strip. I don't like this anymore so should I paint them and the tops of the bars body colour with a chrome stripe or paint them grey with the purple pearl over the top (the same pearl that's used in the body paint)?? I really can't decide
I reckon that looks mad the way it is now, as long as the chrome strip is running the whole way round the car. I'm not a big fan of those strips colour coded with the car, it makes the car look tacky IMO.

SPHELL dude where did you get the money to do all that shit to the car. So your paint job has a pearl, just noticed it in the picks. Well im not buying a new car yet (till i finish my course) so im doing my car up. It wont be as good as yours but hey. So where did you get your transmission conversion done and are you happy with it. Also where did you get your paint job done, i want to put a purple or black pearl on my car.
I don't mean to suck up, but you have arguably the most unreal looking EA I have ever layed eyes on, along with Bass Crazy's. And I've only seen it in the pics, let alone in the bare metal.
In my opinion, the chrome stripping with the black moulding looks really good, and goes well the paint job. The chrome really stands out on the black moulding, and if my car wasn't white, I'd paint the mouldings black too.
The only advice I can give you, would be to have the plastic mouldings all around the car, and not just on the doors (as in, put the little mouldings that go on the front and rear gaurds). And buy 7 metres of chrome stripping from paint mobile (it's the only place I know that you can buy it per metre) and put them in the front and back bumpers so that the chrome goes all around the car.
Or... you could change the colour of the chrome around the car to say, red with the pearl effect, and then it would match the paint too. But I reckon the chrome prolly would look better.
Man, how much would u sell ur car for?? :) just kidding.
I think I already gave you my opinion on this at the Bundoora meet, but I'll give it again anyway...
I personally reckon that the black Body moulding looks REALLY good and very unique... however, imo it really needs the chrome inserted into the bumpers to complete the whole effect.
I agree with ExplodEd EA, i think that (only in certain colours) the colour coded body moulding can look tacky, and ruin the look of the car. I reckon that colour coding them wouldn't look anywhere near as good.
As for the number plates, they're not bad, so if the price is right, it could perhaps be the perfect finishing touch for a very 'fly ride'.
SPHELL, do you know that you can start a "Poll" on this board when you start a thread - you know with a list of choices and members voting etc. Oh well, maybe next time.
OR maybe a Mod could help by attaching one?
Firstly, great looking car
I too think body-coloured strip make it look like a "try hard" attempt. Much classier the way it is but chrome strip all the way around.
