opinions on getting XF's...plz

Iv got an EA (yeah no shit) but after I got it I wanted a XF now a year an a bit later the chance to get 2 of them has come up, one with no rust, lowerd, extractors, 2.5" system, the other is a fairmont all elec, mags, racing stearing wheel, LSD, good interior, and both engines are pretty much stock, the guy wants $900 for both (unlic), Ill put them in the shed, strip them out get one painted black and put all the good shit in one, but until them Ill have the EA 2 drive around, so what does everyone reakon? good? bad?...ugly?

i like them when they are painted nice and lowered with good wheels.
They can look very sweet IMO.

Mate, do what pleases you, but i guess if you just want an XF for the sake of owning one it might not be viable.

I guess everyone has different perceptions on how they look after and modify cars, but i find even to maintain 1 car is already hard enough let alone having one and restoring another.

But yes, i have to say XF's are good cars and in my opinion are one of the best X Series model falcons out.

Sounds Like a good buy to me.

If they were closer to me I would probly buy them and do what you are going to do.

I honestly don't see the attraction to the XF.

Sure, they are more refined then the older cars, but they just don't have much character. Maybe it is the piss weak engines.

I have been driving one for 7 months now, and I still don't really like it.

Now, my old XD 351. That car had character!!!

Saying that, I would say go for it. The cars are definetly cheap.

I say go for it! For $900 your getting 2 cars.
Put all the best internals into the best of the two chasis, and your laughing.

GO THE XF, you wont regret it.

not that hard to add character and two extra cylinders......know what I mean, squire??

Take it from me, you turn more heads in an XF with that V8 roar than you would in an XD.....right Carolyn?
