Mkay , Ive got an opportunity to buy an AUII XR6 VCT auto with 70,000KMS for $15,000 , but theres one catch , it looks like its been in quite a big hit at some stage. It look like the whole front end has been re-built (alot of suspension components repalced) and there has been abit of welding to get it back together , even around the shock towers...The car looks immaculate from the outside and inside and drives well....

What do i do guys??

Any comments welcomed...

If you are sus about it now, walk away. Alternatively, get a second opinion from a suspension shop and/or a panelbeater that you trust.

It's only an Auto VCT. It's not really worth the risk. I wouldn't trust a dodgey fix, especially as you're probably going to drive it hard and use everything to near limits (or you would have bought a kia rio).

Save up and get a T-series, they're dropping in value like a $20 quickie!
