The inital post was something like this...

Re options....
It is hard to decide what to go for.
After shopping for a BA XR...
Here are a few observations..

Phantum.. Yes please... Not sure on the Phantum interior. Go the leather of the Grey trim...
The leather looks and feels tops...
Momo Wheel... Now we have a choice in colour.. Red, Blue or black leather. It is much more meatier than the normal XR wheel.. Very nice.. but an additional $700... Go for it..
Scuff plates.. Yep. Tick that...
17 or 18's.. Have not seen the 18's. 17s will do.. Cant justify the extra $$ now and later for the rubber...
Premium sound.. Definately. The colour TFT looks trick..
Manual vs Auto. Have stirred a Manual XR6N/A. The gear leaver is now in a much nicer spot.. .. Yes thanks.

Yes, choices indeed. That's why when I looked into it my XR8 would have cost more than a GT........

how much are the 18" option? wasnt there some rubbish going around about a $1 option or seomthing? probably a typo somewhere...

Yeah i find that abit optimistic of that $1 18inch alloy deal. But must say it's good to see Ford upping up the options list for people to custom there car even out of the dealer.

I was refering to the Sedan 18" wheels. I did not price them. Would prefer to spend the money on Sunroof or Leather...

Did you remember to tick LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL?

I think the non turbo XRs don't come standard with them.
Trust me, get it now (says $360 on the web) or it'll cost u a fortune aftermarket. I got a new carrier for my car aftermarket and it cost me $750 and it was still worth every dollar. Every rear driver NEEDS one. Less unintended wheelspin, more traction, more SIDEWAYS!!!
