Despite the extra power in the HSV's I'd take an SS over any of the HSV's anyday. Of course, I'd take any number of Ford's, BMW's, Jags, Mercs, Aston Martins, volvo's, Nissans and plenty of others before an SS too.
Ford has the right idea with the GT's and XR's, subtlety is the key. You don't want that guy in the HSV in front of you to know what has hit him until after you have left him at the lights. Rear view stealth is the term i believe.
The body kits were good on the VR/VS's as well...
In fact for a long time the body kits have been damn good, but after being at the show last week i was shocked how the current range looks, they have for the first time gone over the aggressive strong smooth look to a weird aggro sharp look which for the first time looks out of place, even their wheels for the first time haven't got the look.
Not my cup of tea this time and i'm sure some of their devotees will be thinking twice....
The hatch though looks great !!!

They new Y series looks like it came out the worse end of a accident with a pole, or at least the ugly tree!
The senator looks the best out of all of them, but still its pretty ugly. The SS is alright, i just cant stand snothouse, i mean hothouse, green.. eugh!

I love how the HSV owners bagged out Ford for the rebel body kit and then they turn around and make all of them look like Rebel's. But no where near the class.
