I was in Melb on the w/end for the wrestling and while I was there I picked up Saturdays Herald and Age newspapers. I looked through them for any IT related jobs and houses to rent/buy in the city and found very little to nothing!!
Is these the best papers to get when looking for work or is there another paper to get?
I always look on the net for IT jobs but I thought the paper would have a few.
What about rent/buy apartments? is the sats paper the best bet?

Most realestate agents are online atm, so the best place is there...give the newspapers a miss!

For IT jobs, try www.seek.com.au. You create a profile and it emails every day you a list of positions that match your criteria.
