Well, i got my P Plates! YAY!, and my parents seem to think i only need to display the p plates for one year out of my 3 year period of being on my probationary license.
well i think you know but your parents are wrong.....i know that in tassie its only for your first year. But over there you are not allowed to go over 80 so keep that in mind. Be thankful and put those plates up. Mine are just below the rego sticker..you can see them but its not obvious.

Got mates with commodores who have.
Bloody system changed when i got my licence so i had p's for 2yrs. Used to only have them for 1, and there was not minimum time to have your L's. Just get your lic when u turned 17. But its a different story now.
