P Plates

Well, i got my P Plates! YAY!, and my parents seem to think i only need to display the p plates for one year out of my 3 year period of being on my probationary license.

I am in Victoria.

Cheers,

well i think you know but your parents are wrong.....i know that in tassie its only for your first year. But over there you are not allowed to go over 80 so keep that in mind. Be thankful and put those plates up. Mine are just below the rego sticker..you can see them but its not obvious.

A P plate is a reason for the cops to pull you over... in vic anyway.

Re: P Plates

"Pull me over" plates, yay! The joy.

We're in the same boat. I've been pulled over 4 times in less than a year! How about that! Congratulations on getting them first shot!

No car ATM but I am looking at one...
I don't want to say which one otherwise someone else might buy it!

Re: P Plates

hmm ive never been pulled over on my Ps.
Got mates with commodores who have.

Bloody system changed when i got my licence so i had p's for 2yrs. Used to only have them for 1, and there was not minimum time to have your L's. Just get your lic when u turned 17. But its a different story now.

TPC Mod/henchman
previous rides;
1st car EA Fairmont Ghia, extractors, exhaust
2nd EF GLi, 'custom' interior, extractors, exhuast

4th EB2 Fairmont, EL dash and interior, BBM, LSD etc etc
5th EB Fairmont Ghia 5L. All leather, lowered, exhaust etc
