I have never had a 4spd auto before & was wondering if anyone can tell me the best way of using this little 'play' button as my son calls it

Re: P = Play button ?????

The Power mode means higher revs before changing gear, therefore you'll be closer to the peak power rpm. A heavy right foot is the alternative.

Re: P = Play button ?????

Yes, apparently on the BT-R, the Power mode does affect full-throttle gearchanges. You might have to do some testing on the private road.

Re: P = Play button ?????

it does other things like gives lockup in 3rd gear, allows 4th to lockup at a lower speed among other things as well as those already stated.

I find it comes in handy going up hills and over taking cars on the freeway. Might just be my imagination though!
