I Just grabed some quick prices from SPRINT on the way to uni today. Can anyone comment on the prices and sujest if they are about right

EA Race Series piston kit + 0.5mm $390.00
EF Conrod Bearings $34.00
EF main Bearings $75.00
EF Full Gasket Kit $206.00

Total rebuild parts cost $705.00

Prices sound fine, but dont ACL do a full race series rebuild kit complete with pistons, bearings, gaskets etc. Might just work out cheaper if you could buy it in one kit.

More than likely they do, but i want to use EA 20thou over pistons in an EF engine, and as such want EA pistons and EF bearings/gaskets.

ea and ef gaskets interchange only thing diferent is the rocker cover gasket. that i have noticed.

And the person who sells you the kit should be able to order in what u want.

i ordered complete ef kit with 40 thou over ea pistons.

40thou over? Why so large? Why not the 20thou over (0.5mm) piston set, requires less boring/honing.

plus GST. ahhhhh so arround $660
