Re: PC problem......

It may be just popups or worse like spyware installed on your PC. Anti virus programs won't detect them. 3 solutions:

1) Install Spybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html) AND Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)

2) Install Google Toolbar (http://toolbar.google.com/)

3) Install and use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/)

Re: PC problem......

but the pages do load quicker than using IE. make a poll and ask everyone if you dont believe it. also FF is optimised to run on firefox.

Re: PC problem......

I dunno about it being quicker, but its inbuilt pop blocker is terrific and you won't get those dialog boxes asking if you want to install malicious programs and spyware on your PC like IE does.

Re: PC problem......

Yep I'm getting the same thing - shitloads of windows popping up, but nothing in them, and after about 200 or so come up (thats a guess cos i could never count them all), they all just disappear.

Only ever happens when I'm browsing ff too .
