Pcoty

Does anybody know who will be PCOTY in the new Motor mag out tomorrow? I reakon the XR6 Turbo or the GT might get it because of great value. The Nissan 200SX got it and it is only $40,000.

I think another Porsche will get it.

Maybe the GT2?

i think the XR6T....cheap, large car with power and potential for even more, safety, luxury, looks (ok they don't count).....

It deserves it, very very nice car. But.... the same model has already won seems a bit unfair that a slightly updated model can win again.

I would hardly say that Porsche's always win... BMW M3 won last year; year prior Nissan 200SX. Not sure before that, wasn't too much into cars then :) Sure they are always up there, but there is a reason for that.

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...

IIRC, BMW M3s and Porsche Boxters have always won PCOTY, because they have never been competing in the same PCOTY.

As long as the XRs finish higher than their Holden counterparts, who cares that they didn't win? Value for money is less important in this roundup than in BFYB.
