Just before in the BA section we had a thread on a recall of the BA which started some uninformed panic so I was thinking when Ford is going to have a recall,bad press etc it might be worth considering to have someone post some sort of press statement on the forums so people get the facts before people start making wild alligations

I understand your all probably busy but i think it would be a good idea to stop the spread of bad rumours especially as we know people in the press come here & report on some of the threads as stories even when they aren't true eg V12 or V10 or whatever it was

I quickly read a dealer fax today. From the quick scan through it said something about a clip somewhere?
Unfortunately I am not going to comment any further because its not my place to do so.

IF it is a recall, (and i dont know if it is) it should be listed on a vehcile safety website somewhere. I remember seeing a recall website somewhere while surfing around.

Past experience posting on FF leads me to err (bigtime) on the side of saying nothing:sad:

So far I have not been informed of anything properly but again as mbrown42 said it�s not our place to say. There should be an announcement soon. (If there is a fault)

There's is a website which lists all recalls up to date, so far there is nothing listed. I would disbelieve everything you read until it is proven otherwise (I am a sceptic).

I am aware of a stop shipment order, but not of any recall. This is from a bulletin the dealers recieved, not really my place to say any more either..

Gotta love Toby Hagon... the fact that its only a small problem and its not even a recall makes it seem like only a tiny glitch in production.. however not to some who love to rub things in peoples faces just so they can feel good.. Toby your a wanker for putting an article on page 3 of the sunday age... this shows that you really do not like ford at all..

Yeah thats sound about right, a little problem for Ford ends up all over the news and a BIG problem for Holden is never mentioned at all. The media are just biased pricks!!
