oh yes, my pet subject is back. firstly they are talking of putting a permanent camera in the tunnel as research show the average speeds are 83kmh one way and 86 kmh the other. limit is 80. so, rather than exercising some common sense and raise the limit, what do they do??? get another cash till. why? because, the nazi bitch we have as road safety minister (or whatever her title is...the last one was a drunk driver) has deemed that this excessive speed is dangerous. the fact that there are rarley any accidents in the tunnel, and nothing serious so far is irrelevant. there is a wonderful cash flow opportunity going begging.
secondly, they are now going to send out the photo of you speeding (have to invest in some photo frames
) and if the driver of the car doesnt come forward, the owner will face DOUBLE the fine. that should cut the road toll like nothing else. a great safety initiative. so much for innocent until proven guilty.
i have one question.
why is it against the law to kill pollies? surely it should be the national sport.
