"Peter Brocks last race"

Apparantly the race a few weeks ago was Peter Brocks last.

Anyone else notice it's been his "last race" for the last 10 years

This guy should be made to sign a contract to never race again!! It shits me to tears everytime I hear of his "last race" only a few months after his other "last race".

Christ this guy's gonna die of a heart attack while driving a V8 around Bathurst in his "last race" when he's 92.

Re: "Peter Brocks last race"

he was a bloody good driver though. i dont believe it was necessarily the car that got him victories...more his skill. Except the toranas...those LC and LJ toranas were nimble and quick...

He probably is sick of all the lame ad's with him in it, especially that annoying one where his wife keeps calling him up on his motorola mobile. If she was that annoying you'd think he'd dump the bitch and find some hot 20 something Holden tart.

Brock retirements are like Johnny Farnham farewell tours, one every year.
Will be as long as they can continue to hock off the merchandise.

Re: "Peter Brocks last race"

Maybe Brocky's bored?? Maybe driving a race car is all he knows?? I've got no real issue with him, I can see some people would find it really hard to let go when you're just so into it like he is.

Maybe now he is realising his reputation is starting to go downhill with all these comebacks. His speed in the 05 at Bathurst this year wasn't great and that car wasn't the reason. It's probably a good thing he didn't get a run.

Hopefully he'll stay retired now, kick back and enjoy life.
